The basics!

Stand Up Paddle surfing is not only a great way to catch waves or ride flat water but also doubles as a core Fitness exercise that will improve your all over body tone plus sort those abdominal muscles out! SUP lessons will be based from 1 - 3 hours and will include boards and paddles as required. Topics covered in the lesson include the following:

- about safety

- about the sea and the weather

- about the local area

- about the equipment

- the basic paddle stroke

- where and how to stand on the board

- how to control board direction

- how to use the paddle to keep stable

- the different ways to make a board turn
